Today's prayer
I saw a child today, Lord,
who will not die tonight,
harried into hunger's grave.
He was bright and full of life
because his father had a job and feeds him,
but somewere,
everywhere,
ten thousand life-lamps will go out,
and not be lit again tomorrow.
Lord. teach me my sin. Amen.
